Experiences:

  • Over 10 years working experiences in Special Education, specializing in the care of children with Developmental Delay, Learning Difficulties, Autism, Attention Deficit, Hyperactive Disorder, Hearing Impaired and Visually Impaired etc..

  • Led a series of workshops co-organized with the Hong Kong Education Bureau under the subsidization of the District Teacher Network on the topic of "Application of Music Therapy in Music Education for Students with Hearing Impairment in Ordinary Primary Schools".

  • The materials presented was compiled into a teachers' handbook and CD ROM and distributed to primary schools throughout Hong Kong.

  • Conducted music therapy and music education courses, seminars and workshops for various government   departments, tertiary educational institutes, voluntary agencies and schools.

  • Part-time lecturer of HKU SPACE and Hong Kong Institute of Education

  • Presently providing music therapy services in early childhood centers, kindergartens, special schools and mainstream schools.

  • The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Grade 8 Theory of Music with merit 

 

Experience:

  • Have pursued various children work, including working with children with developmental delay, learning difficulties, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), hearing impairment, brain injury, mental retardation and so forth 

  • Had run individual and group music therapy sessions in special schools, elderly day care centre and care home for the elderly 

  • Had provided individual music training for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Heep Hong Society
